2pm-3pm : Mastering post-processing, a major challenge for the development of additive manufacturing

30 to 40% of the cost of a metal additive manufacturing part is linked to post-processing operations. This is a crucial stage to master when a company is producing Additive Manufacturing parts. This often includes finishing operations. Solutions for improving surface finish will be presented, based on different types of part.

Faced with the difficulty of recruiting in industry, this conference suggests that manufacturers innovate in terms of management and work organization. The aim is to recruit, detect, train and motivate atypical profiles internally. They represent around 20% of the population and are a real asset for every company. This conference will give companies of all sizes a better understanding of how atypical profiles work, so that they can make the most of the (hidden) talents of these "non-standard" human resources.
