VSME, the CSR framework that SMEs need to know about in order to anticipate future demands

The VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for Small and Medium Enterprises) is a voluntary European standard recommended by the European Union to enable SMEs (with fewer than 250 employees, and very recently extended to companies with fewer than 1,000 employees) to respond in a simplified manner to CSR reporting requests from stakeholders (customers, bankers and financiers). The latter would not be allowed to request more information from their suppliers than that provided for in this standard (concept of Value Chain Cap).

Cetim has assisted several mechanical engineering companies in implementing this standard and will present its contents alongside a testimonial from an industrial manufacturer.
