8:30am - 5pm : HACKATHON : WOMEN IN TECH

Workshop organized by Orange, SNEC & Baud Industrie - Auditorium

Orange, Baud Industries and the Syndicat National du Décolletage invite you to take part in the Hackathon.

What's it for ? What is it for ?

The objective is to find solutions to boost intrapreneurship and female entrepreneurship, to encourage projects that promote the feminization of technical professions, and to highlight CSR projects.

Who is it for ? Am I the right person to take part ?

All profiles are welcome at this Hackathon: male or female employees of a company or in retraining, young students looking to set up their own businesses. High school and university students. People interested in CSR and discovering agile methods and startup design thinking.

What does it involve ?

In teams of 5, you choose a topic related to WomenInTech: how to get more women into tech, or the project of a future start-up entrepreneur! Then, together, you'll put together the project you're presenting! Prizes will be up for grabs at the end of the event !

Attention: Places are limited! Free, compulsory registration!

2pm-3pm : Machining lead-free materials

Conference organized by CETIM - Workshop area B1

The Reach and ROHS directives will soon ban the use of certain new or hazardous substances, notably lead. Industries using these materials must anticipate change by finding alternative solutions. The use of so-called "lead-free" materials entails many changes, not only for material suppliers, but above all for machinists, who face major difficulties during machining. The aim of this presentation is to outline the issues, findings and solutions involved in machining these materials.

2. Round-table discussion with industrialists talking about their company's diversification into the aerospace sector, the requirements of this sector, and the benefits that experience in the automotive sector can bring to such diversification.

3. Question-and-answer session with the audience
