It is an automated web platform using artificial intelligence to save time for machinists, to define an optimal machining range for a given application, with tools from the Walter range. Based on a 3D model of the workpiece, downloaded from the Walter site, the Walter Innotime concept determines which machining operations are required. He then proposes the appropriate machining tools to the engineer in charge of the follow-up of the request, with the cutting parameters and the prices of the tools of the Walter range. According to the carburier, this concept of digital research would be unique on the market. By associating the Engineering Kompetenz of Walter’s employees with the virtual intelligence of software systems, this approach aims to help the user of cutting tools to find, to quickly and easily purchase and implement the most cost-effective tool solution for the defined machining, within the range of tools offered by Walter. In parallel, the distributor highlights the Walter Tiger tec® Gold grade with a highly textured MT-TiCN multi-layer coating. The KP Hybrid vacuum degreasing machine is the technology spot presented at the IFP Europe stand. It allows the realization of degreasing cycle in solvent medium as well as aqueous. It is intended for all removers and machiners who use both whole oil and soluble oil or emulsions. The KP Hybrid adopts a particularly efficient rinsing function thanks to the addition of a tank of recycled demineralised water substantially improving the washing quality. In the field of vacuum deposition, or polishing, the Hybrid IFP process can be an advantageous substitute for washing lines. From an environmental point of view, this machine is a small revolution because its solvent emissions are particularly low. The use of rinsing water is non-existent because the installation can recycle the water in a closed circuit. Only the consumption of laundry requires a periodic replacement of the baths but that remains moderate because most of the contaminants are removed by the solvent, 100% regenerated in the facility. According to the distributor, the price of this machine remains equivalent to that of conventional solvent machines.
