- Best practices / decarbonization aids for the machining-turning sector
How can we implement concrete solutions with extremely short payback times? Essentially, it's a matter of significantly reducing machining center energy consumption by detecting and reducing periods of non-production, and making the most of standby or shutdown modes without impacting production. Come and discover how, without investment, it is possible to make substantial energy savings by reducing your energy impact on all machining center consumption items.
Robin Gaillardet's ambition is to encourage as many people as possible to take part in physical and sporting activities in the great outdoors. To this end, he has set up Origine, a company based in Annecy. At SIMODEC, he will discuss the complex balance between DOING and BEING, the reasons for engaging in an activity, accepting constraints, taking on new challenges, finding one's "place"... Through the intermediary of his ultra trail world, and thanks to exchanges with several industrialists, he will draw parallels with industrial technological innovation.
All exhibitors and visitors are invited to attend the presentation of the nine Innovation Trophies at SIMODEC 2024, by the members of the jury and the President of Rochexpo.
The seven categories rewarded are Machine tool & automation (5 nominees), Tools & tooling (3 nominees), Quality, measurement & control (4 nominees), Lubrication & machine equipment (4 nominees), Industry 4.0 & software, Materials & processing (2 nominees), Social & environmental responsibility (4 nominees). The jury's "Coup de Coeur" is awarded to an original entry that has been noticed by the jury but has not won any other award. The SIMODEC d'Or is awarded to the entry with the highest average score, across all categories.
